Description

SUMMARY, EXPLANATION AND LIMITATIONS:
The CD3 complex consists of five polypeptide chains (gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta) with molecular weights of 16 to 28 kDa. CD3 is considered to be the best general T-cell marker.

Polyclonal
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: A synthetic 13-mer peptide, corresponding to aa 156-168 of the epsilon chain of human CD3 protein.
Staining pattern: Cell membrane.
Positive control: Tissue sample from tonsil.

APPLICATIONS:
This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human CD3 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
This antibody is a PAN-T cell marker that detects both normal and neoplastic T cells in vivo and in cell cultures. It is recommended to use with a panel of antibodies to lymphocyte differentiation antigens such as CD5, CD7, CD4, CD8 and any other marker T.
