CD57

Ref: AP10130C – Clone: NK-1 – Host: Mouse – Method: P – Format: Concentrated

SKU: AP10130C Category: Tag:

Description

SUMMARY, EXPLANATION AND LIMITATIONS:
CD57 is expressed on a subpopulation of 15-20% of peripheral blood mononuclear cells, about 60% of NK active cells and on a subset of T cells.

Clone: NK-1
Isotype: IgM/kappa
Immunogen:  Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells.
Staining pattern: Cell membrane.
Positive control: Tissue sample from tonsil or lymph node.

APPLICATIONS:
This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human CD57 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
Anti-CD57 identifies natural killer cells ("natural killer – NK") in tissue sections or cell suspensions. Use in conjunction with other lymphoid markers can be useful in identifying indolent lymphoproliferative disorders of NK cells (CD57 +), large granular cell leukemias T (CD57 is expressed in the common variente) Extranodal NK cell / T (usually CD56 + / CD57 -) and lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma nodular (nodular paragranuloma) which is an abundant reactive population.
