Description

SUMMARY, EXPLANATION AND LIMITATIONS:
FOXP3 (a protein of 431 amino acids) is a family member forkhead/winged helix transcription regulators and is highly conserved across mammalian. FOXP3 is essential for normal immune homeostasis. FOXP3 is stable and constitutively expressed in high levels of CD4 regulatory T cells positivas/CD25 positive, low CD4 cell positivas/CD25 negative, and is absent in CD4 T cells positive negativo/CD8. FOXP3 may be a master gene regulator and a more specific marker of regulatory T cells than other T cells.

Clone: SP97
Isotype: IgG
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to C-terminus of human FOXP3 protein.
Staining pattern: Nuclear.
Positive control: Tissue sample from tonsil.

APPLICATIONS:
This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human FOXP3 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
