SUMMARY, EXPLANATION AND LIMITATIONS:
Expression of the invariant chain of the HLADR antigen (CD74) by B-lymphocytes begins in the pre-B stage but lost before the final differentiation to plasma cell.
CD74 1 has been shown to be useful in the differential identification in non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas of the B-lymphocyte phenotype. It recognizes B-lymphocytes and many B-cell lymphoma.
Immunogen: SU-DHL-4 lymphoma cells.
Staining pattern: Cell membrane.
Positive control: Tissue sample from tonsil or lymph node.
This antibody is designed for the specific localization of human CD74 using IHC techniques in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
